Bodega Stratvs

The STRATVS winery is located in Barranco del Obispo, on the edge of the Timanfaya National Park.

The architectural design of the winery has been conceived with the maximum consideration to the landscape’s value of the place and to its condition of protected natural space. In the vineyard, the old farmhouse has been preserved. The winery, as well as the rest of its facilities has been constructed in the underground, preserving like this the original topography of the ravine. For its construction material from the surroundings or of a low visual impact were used, such as the volcanic stone, iron and wood.

The STRATVS winery has bet on an elaborating system where tradition and innovation coexist.

The traditional wine from Lanzarote is elaborated with special care and using high-tech that allows to extract the best qualities of the grape.

The facilities that are meant for wine-making, with over 2.500m2, provided with the most modern equipment for prestigious wine making with its own personality, without forgetting the wine-making tradition from Lanzarote. From the hand selection of the grape, its cooling, the-CO2- carbonic anhydride new use in the special deposits, the use of nitrogen during all the wine-making phases –including the pressing-, the method of the criomaceration and micro oxygenation, up to the scrupulous oenological control, allow to locate the STRATVS winery as one of the most technologically advanced, and most respectful with the wine idiosyncrasy, of Lanzarote.
